A Legacy of Grantmaking

The Vermont Women's Fund harnesses the collective power of giving to promote leadership, equality, self-sufficiency, and philanthropy for Vermont women and girls.

In fourteen years of grantmaking the VWF has awarded over $1.2 million to organizations statewide, working to ensure that all women and girls realize their potential and building vital communities throughout the state.

Our grants are made from a $2.3 million endowment built by gifts of all sizes from donors like you. These grants help women and girls move out of poverty, establish safe relationships, choose healthy behaviors, build financial management skills, master non-traditional occupations, and much, much more.
